Relic of St. Francis Xavier

A relic (ARM) of St. Francis Xavier will be in Nova Scotia as part of its Canadian Pilgrimage as follows: Halifax Jan. 7 and Antigonish Jan. 8th. Please see below for details on Halifax visit and we’ll forward info on Antigonish as we receive it.

On the Feast of the Epiphany, January 7, 2018, Archbishop Mancini and the whole Archdiocese will welcome a visit from the relics of Saint Francis Xavier. More specifically, the arm of Saint Francis Xavier will be available for veneration at Saint Mary’s Cathedral Basilica. The schedule of the visit on Sunday, January 7th is:

10:30am                 Sunday Mass

11:30am – 4:30pm    Public Veneration

5:00pm                   Sunday Mass, Celebrant: Archbishop Mancini

6:00pm – 10:00pm     Public Veneration

(6:30 Relic Talk: Life of St Francis Xavier and the Three Graces)

10:00pm                    Closing Prayer: Litany of St. Francis Xavier
