Hurricane Fiona Assistance

the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council provided the State Council to provide assistance to those who experienced loss due to Hurricane Fiona. The money was used to provide financial support to six individual Knights who experienced severe property damage due to the hurricane as well as support to two Churches seven food banks and the Loaves and Fishes Community Kitchen. The first photo above shows SD Frank Howell presenting a cheque to Fr. Dennis Lamey, the pastor of St. Andrew’s Church and to GK Wayne Mullins for the Antigonish Food Bank. The bottom photo shows SD Frank Howell presenting a cheque to Marco Amati, the Director of the Loaves and Fishes Community Kitchen. The kitchen provided meals to hundreds of needy people during the days without power in the Sydney area.
